Very Short Bio:
Catherine Pomeroy is a child welfare attorney, amateur musician and avid cyclist who lives with her husband in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. They have four adult children. Music, love of family and adventure inspire her writing. The Gulch Jumpers is her debut novel.

Author Catherine Pomeroy, a child welfare attorney who lives in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, has launched the 2nd Edition release of her debut novel, The Gulch Jumpers, published by No Bad Books Press, San Diego, California. Music, love of family and adventure inspire Catherine’s writing. The Gulch Jumpers is a road trip story; the tale of an unlikely friendship, an elderly homeless musician, a heroin addict, and the quest for a musical miracle. A violinist with a local community orchestra, Catherine appreciates many genres of music, including bluegrass and roots music inspired by a family heritage in the Appalachian regions of southern Ohio. Catherine draws on her experience as a practicing attorney to tackle social issues such as right to marry, drug addiction, and a birth parent’s search for an adopted child. She incorporates quotations from United States Supreme Court cases addressing family and parenting into the novel. Over the span of a twenty-plus year legal career dedicated to the protection of children from abuse and neglect, Catherine has worked as a county prosecutor, guardian ad litem, and legal counsel for a child protective services agency. Look for the release of her next novel in 2022.
